Complete PC to DAC (wireless) kit.

This 'kit of parts' is almost new, with perhaps 30 hrs or so of use.

Here is everything that you need to connect your PC or MAC wirelessly to your DAC.

The kit contains:

  1. Apple Airport Express with iTunes CD and all installation drivers on the original CD
  2. Wireless USB adaptor with a USB extension cradle and installation disc (D-Link wi-fi compatible)
  3. Optional Airport Express remote control. The receiver plugs into the spare USB port on the AE and you can switch tracks etc using the remote.
  4. Optional Apple/Monster cable kit. The Airport Express does not come with a Toslink cable, which is what you need to get from the AE to the DAC. So I bought the Apple approved Monster cable kit, which has the Toslink, a mini to dual phono and a longer AC Cord for the AE

I have all manuals/discs and installation is very straightforward. Both the Wireless USB and the Airport are 'plug and play'....simply install the drivers, plug the units in and Windows detects the new devices and sets up a new wireless network (that's how it worked on my XP machine, I can't guarantee you won't have more fun!).

So now you can download a free copy of EAC (Exact Audio Copy) and make copies of your CD's and play them back via iTunes through your existing DAC. This setup eliminates the need to have the computer adjacent the stereo system, as the signals are transmitted wirelessly!

Excited? - well you should be. This lot retailed for about $275 and it's yours for $150

Sorry but I can't split this up.

Also, there is no box for the Airport, it came in one of those plastic contraptions with instructions on how to open it using a chainsaw. The box in the picture is for the Apple/Monster cable kit.
