tubes have 2.5v mesh plate so are plug and play
compatible with the Cary 2A3, and sound simply

These are great amps with midrange to die for. Work
extremely well with my Oris horn system, providing enough power
(5 watts/ channel) for LOUD
listening without dynamic compression.
Other Cary 2A3 SE's sell for around $1900 - $2000,
with plain old Sovtek tubes. Some of the older
Cary's have captive power cords, these are
detachable cords. So you're basically getting a 2A3
and 300b amp, with spare tubes in great condition
for only......$1900 Over $500 of premium tubes for
free!
