Two Digital
Interconnects:
1 meter single run of Analysis Plus Digital Oval
SPDIF interconnect (w/ WBT RCA connectors at both
ends)
1 meter single run of MIT Terminator 3 SPDIF
interconnect (w/ MIT RCA connectors at both ends)
The Analysis Plus
Digital Oval is the best dig IC I have ever heard.
In my system it replaced the venerable Kimber/illuminati
D-60 (the Stereophile favorite.) The AP
Digital Oval was just as revealing and just as
detailed as the Illuminati, but with a slightly more
musical, more natural sound. I had both
simultaneously rigged from my Sony SCD-777ES
transport to my Theta DAC, and thus could compare
the two almost instantaneously. The Analysis
Plus Digital Oval gave up nothing compared to
the Illuminati, and yet sounded more like the real
thing. In my opinion it was definitely
better (and it was less expensive). (for sale $90;
orig. $140)
The MIT Terminator
3 is a great budget dig IC. It earned rave
reviews from Tom Miiller's The Audio Adventure
magazine from the mid 1990s. He hailed it as
one of the great audio bargains out there. Remember
his point system; I think the MIT Terminator 3
earned 95 points out of 100. (for sale $50;
orig. $99)
I am selling these
because I no longer have a DAC, and thus no longer
need a digital interconnect.
