Great
looking/sounding pair of SimAudio W10's.
Great condition,
clean faceplates, very minor marks on top of the 4 feet/posts
from where the amps have been used stacked, hence the
conservative 8/10 rating. The four posts
double-up as handles and feet, and the base of the 4 feet have
brass threaded holes so you can add your own AudioPoints or
whatever. The amps can be used direct spiked into the carpet,
on amp stands or stacked one atop the other. (cones/points not supplied).
Balanced and SE
inputs with hefty binding posts that can easily handle two
sets of spades or one banana.
Incredible
dynamics, bass, clean highs, deep/wide soundstage...very
'liquid' sounding without any solid state harshness. I tried
about a dozen high-end power amps on my Maggie 3.6R's before
finally settling on the Sims. They blew away Krell, McIntosh,
Belles, Cary, Perreaux and more. The best thing I
can do is ask you to read the review that I wrote some months
